    Well enjoyment is subjective and if you enjoy western tv more than anime right now than good for you. Tastes change. Personally though I wouldnt assign any kind of objective value to one medium or another because of that.

    Leave the objectivity to the critics. In the end, subjective opinions are what buys DvD's, movie tickets, boxsets, and other merch. If you want, you're free to be objective all you want.. However, it's NOT objectivity, but subjectivity, that decides the value of an entertainment platform. And my subjective opinion is that WTV has been far superior overall than Japanese Anime here recently.

  Hey, glad you liked Holyland. It's been a while since I read it, but I do remember getting a kick of how the author was able to incorporate martial arts into street fighting. And yeah, I'll be sure to tell you about other titles like it. I've always had a soft spot for delinquent/teenage gang-themed manga, so I'm always on the look-out for the good stuff.
