Feeling terrible right now. Just had a group of people ganging up on me, making fun of Singapore and Chinese.

@Novaire Do you think South-East Asians are true Asians? That's what the first troll that started the argument called into question, that I'm not a real Asian/Chinese because I'm from South-East Asia. The conversation got real ugly from there.

I know he's just a troll, but now I can't stop thinking about my ethnicity, like he's uncovered something dirty about me that I need to now think about. It's awful the things people can say on the net.

That sounds similar to Aryanism, so it's pretty much total crap. Not to mention, it's just a bizarre thing to say. What's even the insult there? You aren't from somewhere, so you should feel bad about it? Super clever. Pay it no mind.

Depression sucks. I just recently recovered from it too. I'm just so tired. I seriously need some pills during my next visit to the shrink.

Yeah, I had a feeling it's something like that. But it was funnier pretending it's all true. lol That's the key to reality TV - the more exaggerated it is, the more entertaining!

Oh I like Maury show for some good laughs, I love it when the men get on there and say they can't father a particular gender too damn funny.

I hope it's fake. But I do agree with you. Sometimes a kick up the arse is well warranted. LOL!

We grow up, we make compromises. Regrets. Sorrows. I'm 27, and I'm already looking back in my life.

Make some lemonade with them lemons.

Post secondary education with an extra decade of life experience is shockingly useful, for example.

If you're already looking back at your life then you probably want to start thinking about what's important to you. Make the changes you need to make and enjoy the wild ride.

Seems like the things people liked, I'd always have something to complain. Things I liked that I posted threads about? Nobody cared. Heh.

Need new entertainment in my life. Gonna buy Hitman 2016. Expensive though - S$69.90, holy cow! Hope it won't suck; I don't wanna refund.

Get Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition on Steam and run a co-op. Check it out first, see if it's up your alley.

Is it similar to Pillars of Eternity? To be honest, I'm not really a fan of medieval RPGs (aside from Dragon Age: Origin), or Isometric RPGs for that matter. I'm giving Hitman a try because I was a big fan of the pre-Absolution Hitman games back then, particularly towards its open-world nonlinear features, and the multiple ways to complete the missions like Crysis.

That said, I'll keep your suggestion in mind. I doubt Hitman will keep me occupied for that long anyway. I'll give Divinity a shot in the next few weeks and see how it goes. Thanks for the tip. :)

The adage, "You don't play your hand; you play the man across from you" still holds true, regardless of what the card game is.

It definitely feels better to be a winner than a loser, even in a kids game.

It seems like we're so busy pointing fingers at liberals and supremacists rather than trying to solve problems & ensure peace among people.
      1. RyderMcFly
        RyderMcFly
Yes, I know, I did some of the finger-pointing myself, an act spurred from the anxiety of seeing this hostile political climate, which is more the reason we should desist from all the hate and drama.

It's easy to have peace: ostracize, lockup, and kill anyone who disagrees with you. It's much harder to have liberty.

Uh, no. There's no convenient Subway chain near my apartment, and Subway sandwiches are expensive for the funky ingredients they put in there. I think I'll just stick with my traditional local chicken rice from now on. Familiar and simple.

Not much to say. I'm an Asian Chinese who loves movies, anime, visual novels, and sometimes video games. I'm a total nerd. So I should be able to fit right in at this place.

That said, I do have a case of social anxiety, and I can be quite sensitive, with a tendency to overreact. I try not to get too close to people for that reason. :p
