I've almost finished my character sheet. Is it encouraged to have more than one character?

Also I have a question, can my character have their Dragon enhancement be the ability to nullify other kinesis powers in her vicinity, or is that lame?

I wanted my character to have pure-melee combat style that focuses on closing with the enemy and holding them there.

It has to be control over something, it can't nullify other peoples powers.
