    Lowdown:

There is an urban legend that children tell one another about a shinigami that can release people from the pain they may be suffering. This "Angel of Death" has a name—Boogiepop. And the legends are true. Boogiepop is real.

I'm pretty sure I won't be able to make head or tail of this for the first couple of episodes. It's been some time since I watched the 2000 series. But I remember that hospital and the doctor was highly suspicious.

Will wait until it finishes airing, then I'll watch the previous series before getting into this one.

Oh this is a remake? Is it scene for scene or something like ghost in the shell arise with a retelling of the basic story?

It is definitely going in a different than i thought .
i thought it was all going TO be psychological and nothing real was happening

So long as it doesnt become an all out gore fest i think ill ll be happy with this one. So far two eps in im good with it.

Nah, it isn't a remake. It's an adaptation of a new story from the source novel.

I thought I'd jump right into it but I guess I'll start watching this once half of it has aired.

Think Mob Psycho and Dororo would be alright to watch weekly.

Apparently, as per the Blu-ray Disc and DVD home video release listing, the show's getting 18 episodes.

    18 ep?

Wow ep 3 has a firm ending. I guess it will be interesting to see where they go with it. It also seemed like a mini movie with that story set. Its a bit gory but its generally done in shadows so i can handle it.
