The Bungo Stray Dogs franchise's "Mayo(w)i Inu-tachi no Utage Sono Ni" event announced on Sunday that production on a brand-new film project has been green-lit.

The "battle action" story centers around a league of literary figures with supernatural powers. For example, in real life, Ryūnosuke Akutagawa wrote acclaimed stories that inspired Akira Kurosawa's Rashōmon film and the Aoi Bungaku Series anime's Jigoku Hen (Hell Screen) arc. In Bungo Stray Dogs, he has the power to transform and manipulate his cloak into a monster-like entity. Together, some of these writers solve mysteries as part of the "Armed Detective Agency," while others appear as antagonists.

Niiicieeeee I fucking love Bongou Stray Dogs. I'm assuming this takes place before the original series begins, from the looks of it at least.

The first 3 episodes of the second season should have been the first season. I would have loved to see 12 episodes of that period.

Anyways, Bungou Stray dogs was decent. Definitely going to give this a shot.
