Looks like a movie you use a control pad to fast forward with.
Videogame's a videogame
Honestly would've thought interactive movies would be bigger now. Like on the big screen. Plug in your VR glasses into seat like u do earphones on planes and away you go. Same movie, different ending/progression depending on choices you made for eveyone.
'Holy fuck did the bad guys win in the end in your version?'
'....no idea they had Street Fighter 3: Third Strike in the pool hall scene and I spent 2 hours playing that.'
Kojima Productions revealed a new trailer during Sony's E3 2018 press conference. The trailer unveiled the full name of Norman Reedus' character as Sam Bridges, and also revealed Léa Seydoux and Lindsay Wagner as part of the game's cast.
Besieged by death's tide at every turn, Sam Bridges must brave a world utterly transformed by the Death Stranding. Carrying the stranded remnants of the future in his hands, Sam embarks on a journey to reunite the shattered world one step at a time. What is the mystery of the Death Stranding? What will Sam discover on the road ahead? A genre defining gameplay experience holds these answers and more.
i still dont have a clue what death stranding is. how are people so excited about something there is very little idea on what it is. for all you know it could be overrated
Think you mean overhyped rather than overrated. Link Kuze posted sems to show some gameplay. Looks like a walk sim with survival bits.
But yeah, you can trust Kojima to release 10 hours of cut scenes and still leave you oblivious to what the hell's going on.
If the game turns out to be a survival delivery man game, like Eurotruck Simulator with invisible monsters, then I am in.
Don't know why but I look at the game and somehow feel like it should be called "Fallout: FedEx Edition."
So, Fallout: New Vegas then?
Ah man, this better have a 'Paper Boy' mini game.
All about dat paper boi.
I like the fact that Norman Reedus has to protecc the capsule babby or else he can't see invisible monsters with umbilical cords stuck on them. It's like a complete reversal of "life" and "death" with "rebirth" thrown in there as a gameplay mechanic.
New trailer dropped at TGS 2018. I'm starting to feel like I'd buy a PPro just to play this game for an entire lifetime.
Like every other Kojima Trailer, I don't know wtf is going on but I'm buying it.
Listen I still have no idea what's happening but I want it.
Hopefully this game will.....deliver.
Death Stranding will ship on November 8. The official PlayStation YouTube channel streamed a new trailer.
has anyone figured out what this game is about yet?
If you haven't understood what this is about, that's how it works.
Also from the trailer it looks like actual America is fucked by war and shit and people have escaped into a virtual/alternate space (maybe on Earth) but this alternate space is going to shit as well.
Sony began streaming a new character video. Kojima stated in a Twitter post that the character is a member of BRIDGES whose heart stops every 21 minutes. After that, he spends three minutes in the world of the dead, and then he comes back to life by AED. He does this 60 times a day. The character's likeness is based on filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn, but Refn is not voicing the character.
If that's what Heartman does, can't wait to see Die-Hardman.
He's the champion of most deaths and revivals, so Heartman has something going for him assuming there's still a record book out there in Death Stranding.
