    Release Date: 29 March, 2019
    Director: Tm Burton
    Screenplay: Ehren Kruger
Starring: Eva Green, Colin Farrell, and Michael Keaton

Yep, folks, it's time for one of those again - a live action Disney remake. This time by gothic horror master, Tim Burton himself, yeesh. Doubt we'll see that bunch of racist crows though.

Wonder when we're ever going to get that Lion King remake, huh?

    Pass!

The original is just a... strange and spiteful film with exactly one redeeming quality, the pink elephants scene. I can't imagine this been worth a watch, especially with that screen writer.

I disagree to be honest on it being spiteful. The original is so old, but it's main messages on bullying and not judging a book by it's cover still apply today. The fact that this was the subject in 1941 proves that they knew it was a problem even then, yet, society still hasn't really learned that this pack mentality against people who are different is wrong.

Sure, some of it's ideas are dated, but I'm sure it'll be modernised in a remake. I think it looks cute, and I have always loved Tim Burton's visuals. I will definitely watch.

'From the imagination Of Tim Burton.'

Strike one. On plus side, look forward to Johnny Depp's cameo method acting as a pile of Elephant dung.

Loved original. Not seen it in years.

@ReymousFumes: BTW, a Lion King remake is in production and is also due for release in July 2019. Just realised that you asked that. XD

It won't be live action though, but photo-realistic animation like The Jungle Book's animals. As close to live action as they can get with that kind of movie tbh.

    1. The mouse
    2. The crows
    3. The pink Elephants.
    4. Baby of mine song.
    5. The awesome intro song.

This movie will have none of that, but might vaguely easter egg some of them. Also, no talking animals. I am with you on the pass part. I don't give a shit if you think it's fucking racist, If the Crows in their old timey black people accents don't make it into the movie along with the drunken scene and the talking mouse companion, I am not interested one bit.

Watch a 250 pound baby elephant jump from that height and see what happens in real life.
