Posting this up as a matter of interest more than anything. Perhaps it can even help us in the future. I know a lot of our current members are ex-A4, but we have had a number of new people join us since. At times, we had been actively promoting SC in places where it is legal and encouraged to do so. Some might have found us there, via a google search, or perhaps word of mouth.
They built the site but KT was like "The site is boring. Its missing something.....epic and awesome." Thus he turned on the A4 signal as I was sitting in my chair waiting, knowing they would need me. I looked in the sky and saw the signal. They needed Dunndolo to give the site what it needs. Thus I brought my happy dappy ass here and made the site the greatest thing in existence. Your welcome.
People took the lifeboat, but that was during my afk time so when I came back, I had to fucking swim across the god damn OCEAN GUYS. JUST BECAUSE THE BATHROOM IS LOCKED AND HAS IT'S LIGHTS CLOSED, DOESN'T MEAN THERE'S NO ONE JEEZ. inb4 stop lurking only in the rp section.
I don't remember Dunn from A4. I thought he was a refugee from the Street Cred chatroom that got misdirected here when they had a software glitch while under a Russian cyberattack in the middle of a lightning storm.
The brother/sister duo that couldn't speak English suffocated A4. All that was left was spam bots and adverts. I also needed to check in on a Dunn as well as keep tabs on the senile members like the previously known Oh Snap.
I came from A4. I was pretty much like a tourist stuck in the middle of a civil war or something. Ended up on the boat to Sakuga City with the other refugees.
Is it even possible to find this place? How many people are here who didn't just come from A4? We had a primo search result ranking with that place. Too bad we couldn't have gone rogue and hijacked that site from those two shitheads and at least just implemented a redirect to somewhere not crippled by ads and malware. Not like they'd have known how to stop us from doing it.
Apart from the fact that it's illegal? No programmer would risk doing something like that nowadays, even if they wanted to. Wastaz was our programmer admin at the time, and it certainly wouldn't be worth risking his career for. I've actually tried to buy the url lol. They're looking for 2k for it. It's a hyphenated url. It's not worth anywhere near that. They know where they can stick it. Google rankings don't exist anymore. It's all on content. The more unique content we produce, the more visible we become, or so that's it in theory. The more shitposts copy/pasted from other places, the less visible. We have some plans in the works for advertising. @KT Samurai will make an announcement on that when it's ready. We've had a bunch of non-A4 people around, but they didn't all stay. Still a handful who stayed as regulars though. Just haven't chimed in here yet.
For the record. Even for me, a piece of debris from the A4 fallout: this place was fucking impossible to find. For two years I'd searched for the 'new forums'; it was like searching for El Dorado and every time I couldn't find it I had convinced myself that the community had just fled to other forums
