    The TCPA hearing concluded today...

These the tentative results. Still waiting on the official documentation / hearing transcript.

Seems like Vic's legal team had some last minute SNAFUs with getting the evidence of Monica and Ron's interfering with Kamehacon's organizer (concerning Vic's appearance contract) in prior to the TCPA.

It also may be the case that the Judge was inappropriately applying rules / procedures held for TCPA hearings.

The judge has 30 days to make a ruling on the remainder of Funimation, Monica, and Ron's defamation. (And the Monica / Ron civil conspiracy).

I am a little disappointed in the dismissal of the Monica/Ron tort interference as the evidence was unmistakably indicative of the pair interfering with Vic's business contracts.

In a unique showing, the Judge has ordered all parties to attempt a mediation (yes even Jamie Marchi whom the Judge had previously dismissed the charges against her during the TCPA hearing). He has requested that this occur a few days prior to the deadline that he (Judge) has to make a ruling (off of the remaining charges / parties).

The Judge talks about some "threats" being made, and the appellate court sometimes siding with him / sometimes not siding with him (his rulings).

Hmmm... we keep falling down the rabbit hole.

Today, it appears that all of the allegations have been dismissed. Still waiting on the official transcript.

An appeal from Vic seems likely.

    The Judge's decision:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H7niC_oir0kaNrk4sXQriF9eyLupuUwZ/view

Seems that the Judge chose to disregard certain evidence in the Plaintiff's amended petition (which was technically submitted after the deadline). The evidence which was disregarded was the evidence which directly proved the defamation per se and tortuous interference of both Monica Rial and Ron Toye.

Specifically, the sworn statement of the organizer of Kamehacon - and corroborating text messages were not considered (where he said he was contacted numerous times by both Rial and Toye, and pressured to cancel Vic... and actually did cancel Vic due to the interference).

"Accordingly, the Court did not consider evidence submitted after the agreed upon deadline in the Rule 11 agreement with the exception of the Plaintiff's Response to Defendants' TCPA Motion to Dismiss (without the withdrawn affidavits), which was deemed timely filed by this Order."
