    Lowdown:

Akira Tachibana is a soft-spoken high school student who used to be a part of the track and field club but, due to an injury, she is no longer able to run as fast as she once could. Working part-time at a family restaurant as a recourse, she finds herself inexplicably falling love with her manager, a divorced 45-year-old man with a young son.

First episode is out on Amazon Prime. Being a Noitamina show, this'll be an Amazon exclusive.

Looks promising but since I'm not all that familiar with the romance genre, it's hard to read how this'll shape up to be. I'll give it a few episodes though.

Anybody else watch the first episode and what are your thoughts on it?

I wish I could find it, I friggin hate how amazon has no real way to search titles and cant order new releases in any meaningful way. I cant even find this on prime to watch it!

I think this is the US one: click me

I have my issues with it. Mainly the age gap situation. However the stick figure animation doesn't help out as well.

there's something about it though which is intriguing. I had to laugh at Akira's leg though. Not that it is nice to laugh at an injury but the fact at how poorly animated her scar was lol.

@Kuze I'm not sure how I feel about this show yet. On one hand, yes at face value the premise is more than a bit squicky, but on the other hand so is a lot of other media. I want to see how they handle things before I pass judgement. That said, with all the little details you can tell the show runners do care bout making a good series, so I have hope this wont be a total shit show.

I totally don't understand this show. Maybe I"m not cut out for silly romance shows. Poor me. Well, guess this is goodbye for me. It seems a decent enough show but I got 4 shows on my plate already.

Episode 1 was a good intro, I like the two MC's...the premise seems original enough. Ima keep this one on the weekly.

So the manga is getting a live action film as well, scheduled for a May 25th debut.

Looks like Vertical comics will be printing the manga. Volume 1 is prolly slated for a September 25 release.
