Alright, so I made one of these for the Anime section, I guess I'll make one for movies/film.

So, I was out earlier today and found some good deals.

Man, your shelf reminds me of the days when I would rent movies from Blockbuster or some random, rundown DVD/VHS/Video game rental store.

    People still buy movies? Why?

Maybe it feels nice holding the physical copy in their hands, not that that applies to me.

The last movie or show I bought was the Target Exclusive version of Zootopia on Blu-ray and DVD. Includes unique cover art as well as special features found only on that version.

They exist for free, so why spend money on them? I watch new movies all the time, but aside from a Netflix sub and going to the theater, I haven't spent money on a movie in like 4 years at least.

No those are digital, when you buy movies in a store, those are tangible, you can actually touch them, therefore they exist

They exist on a hard drive in exactly the same way.

Physical copies just tend to instill sentimental values in those who collect them. Others care more about the movie itself and not the medium it's viewed through.

It's not the sentimental value, it's the feeling of having something real that you can actually touch, it's the same thing with ebooks, I'd just rather have something tangible other than something on a movie service

I mentioned that above (scroll up). I'm saying movie medium does not matter for others because they care more about the movie itself.

How is the movie any more physical in disk form than hard drive form? The computer can be touched, as can the HDD itself be touched. They're effectively the same.

You can't keep electronic copies on the shelf. All the bits fly away.

Anyway, Midget Clown Gangbang 12. It kinda went downwhill after Midget Clown Gangbang 5: Bozo's Hardcore Revenge but what can I say, I'm a completest.

But the amount of bits in an average length movie won't ever fit on an average sized shelf. Plus, bits from different movies might get mixed up.
