The latest addition to my collection; Captain America: Civil War Steel Book Blu-Ray. Spoiler Back. Spoiler
@Neon Walrus: Ive got X-Men apacolypse on 3d Blu-ray. But it didn't have a steel book! Captain America civil war 3d had its steel book. Boo!!! But I've finished apacolypse today. Very enjoyable on my 3d projector and surround sound
i got star trek beyond on bluray 3d last night. i watched a little of the bonuses. i saw the tribute to Leonard and anton. still hard to believe both are gone. ill probably watch the whole movie friday night.
@yoda313 nice man, so you get the 3D Blu-rays. now they starting to release movie in 4K. Unbelievable. Never got huge into Star Trek myself, but I've seen some of the various series; I can see why it gained so much fan traction.
@Neon Walrus - i dont have 4k yet. i would have bought the 4k pack but it didn't include 3d. and yes star trek has been around for fifty years and five series and thirteen movies. so theres something for everone.
just got this: Spoiler i would have gotten it when it first came out but my best buy didn't have it yet. i also hot to use a $5 reward certificate on it its transformers the movie cartoon on bluray. im not sure why the link isnt working. oh i saw this movie in the theater when it first came out
I picked up a few Blu-Rays today on a Walmart trip. The Boy and the Beast (Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital) Hot Fuzz: Ultimate Edition Public Enemies I only spent about 30 dollars, 60% of which went toward The Boy and the Beast, which I haven't seen yet. I'm a big Mamoru fan though, so I'm more than willing to put the cash forward. I also haven't seen Public Enemies, but I've heard it's pretty good. Hot Fuzz is one of my favorite films. This is actually my third time buying it, but the first time on Blu-Ray. I've watched it fairly recently, but I'm still down for another, definitely looking forward to the commentary tracks.
After years of searching, without bothering to just order it, I finally found a Blu-Ray copy of Mission: Impossible. I found it used at a local game store. So psyched to watch it, it's one of those films I'm sure I'll enjoy, but I've just never had it available. I also picked up a copy of the original Red Dawn, also on Blu-Ray, another film I haven't seen.
Alright, so I picked up a couple movies last week. Spoiler So, I watched 10 Cloverfield Lane on Netflix last weekend, and I was so impressed with it, I went and picked up the Blu-ray of it after work one day, and it was on sale as a buy 2 for $20, so I got War of the Worlds Steel Book in the deal.
I picked up 10 Cloverfield Lane as well, for about ten dollars on Black Friday. Looking forward to getting into it next month, it looks like a fun flick.
Didn't really pick this up but i got spirited away two disc standard set from a secret santa thing I'm apart of. This is only the second gibli film I've owned (the first being my neighbor totoro)
My local game store does buy 2 get one free on Blurays during the weekend, so we picked up a load of them: Collections Own The Moments Collection (Antwone Fisher | Courage Under Fire | The Seige) High-Powered Action Collection (Equilibrium | Supercop | The Lookout | The Yards | Hidden Assassin | No Code of Conduct) Ong Bak Trilogy (Ong Bak | Ong Bak 2 | Ong Bak 3) The Jackie Chan Collection (Operation Condor | Operation Condor 2: The Armour of God | Project A | Project A2) Normal Copies The Box The Expendables Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within G.I.JOE: The Rise of Cobra Godzilla (2014) Gone Baby Gone The Green Hornet Man On A Ledge Paranormal Activity Paranormal Activity 3 Source Code Spider-Man 2 Unknown Unstoppable The Woman in Black World War Z Zero Dark Thirty This totaled out to less than seventy bucks, which isn't too shabby. The Ong Bak Trilogy was an especially nice deal at just six dollars, although nothing costed more than that. I'm looking forward to checking out The Expendables, Man On A Ledge and re-watching the Jackie Chan flicks. I've been apprehensive about grabbing their copy of The Green Hornet. I love that movie, but they hadn't pushed the label back under the plastic, and then placed the sticker over it, but I got it off okay.
