Merry Christmas/Holidays, whatever way you celebrate it.
Merry Christmas everyone I am having a fish dinner tonight
Spoiler: Fishy fish
Well I best start drinking.
Happy holidays. And stay chill like this kid here.
Happy Holidays *
Since its Christmas Eve i just finished gift shopping. Some relatives will be over later to have a few drinks, then im kicking them out before they get too comfortable.
Hope everybody gets something they don't want. I will be stomping my kids on the New Switch I bought with Super Smash Bros as a great kind father should. Then Ill have to be sad cuz I have to work the rest of the week after.
Happy Saturnalia everyone. We took a train into the Big Apple Sunday to see all the window displays, not bad but I think some previous years were better. Do not go near 5th Ave. between Rockefeller Center and Saks this time of year, you will not be able to move. Found that out too late.
Happy New Year too if you’re into that sort of thing.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday. I am working nightshift tonight, Christmas eve, and get off in the morning to unwrap presents then off for 10 days. I will not be answering my phone to any number from my workplace haha.
@Fantasy that fish looks awesome! I usually make duck for Christmas but I haven’t since my son was born, too lazy haha.
Merry Christmas to all! So... what did Santa bring you? Also, are you celebrating the birth of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?
Here's a Christmas selfie from me, to go with the season's greetings. Haha!
Merry Christmas all, Hope you and your families have a great Holidays and a safe, prosperous
and awesome 2019. To quote the late great Stan Lee "Excelsior!"
Thank you. We don't eat fish on Christmas eve. We usually have fish and 12 dishes on that day
Merry Xmas I guess (yeah, I just cut Christ out of this bitch).
Not a big fan of it tbh, but no point in being a Grinch.
I hope everyone is having a very merry Christmas. I got gifts for others, but received only a pack of playing cards. But it's no big deal for me. Anything I want, I just buy for myself so I really don't care if I didn't get much. It's about giving more than anything. Just going to relax now and enjoy the time off.
Merry Christmas to all. Don't know about you guys but i had chili and ramen for lunch and I'm eating pizza for supper. Tis the season
Io Saturnalia everyone! Hope your new year will be less terrible than this one was, lol.
I had Christmas dinner at my brother's house. He's a former chef, so it was very nice. Then went to my uncle and aunt for Stephen's day dinner.
I'm the oldest of the grandchildren on my mum's side of the family and the youngest, my cousin, is 6 years old. They're so funny at that age. He told me all about Santa's arrival at his house and how the cheeky elves left new socks for him just thrown around in the kitchen next to the back door, that were too lazy to wrap them and put them under the christmas tree. He said that elves were crooks. lol. I told him that Santa was on the radio on Christmas morning and that he was talking about the busy night he had and that he was back in the North Pole having breakfast with Mrs. Claus. The face lit up. So cute.
Wow that is a lot of dishes. I couldn’t imagine cooking that many and I have a double oven.
Think of all that washing up @Fantasy. lol.
My brother probably had near that amount of dishes + like 5 desserts. He's crazy lol. At least this year, he was doing all this in his own house, so he actually cleaned up as he went along. His fiance might have killed him otherwise.
When he cooked Christmas dinner at my parents house a couple of years ago, every last dish, pan, saucepan and utensil in the place got used. Things even that were in the house that were probably never used lmao. It took me and my mum 2 hours to wash the dishes etc, a lot of it fine china that couldn't be put in the dish washer. LOL! He wasn't allowed cook at their house last year. It was like NOPE, we're cooking this year. lol. Might not be as amazing as his cooking, but gosh, the cleanup wasn't worth it. haha!
We have life hacks... You have two types of bread? Put them in seperate bowls joking all the dishes have deep traditions. Most of them are manufactured by companies... To ease the pain. But you can always make them yourself if you want to stay true
