Finished the second season the other night. It was okay. I can understand the accusations about them trying to mould it into a bargain basement Game of Thrones and it has some definite pacing issues, but I thought it was still a decent vampire romp. Some great snappy dialogue too. Not so bothered about the character designs, but I wish he'd directed the show to be honest. Or at least the action scenes.
They've nabbed the rights to and are making a Devil May Cry animated series as well. Twitter update: here
It better be a reboot. Original made we want to drop kick something. I would another game as well plz.
Finally finished the 2nd Season. I liked it. Really wished somebody killed Carmilla though. That bitch deserved it so much. I know Dracula is dead and all but this almost feels like they could continue it if they wanted. I wonder if they will.
I don't think that ever happened in the games, but who knows? Might not go down too well with the fanbase if they want to go that route, but it might be interesting, I suppose.
I highly doubt it. Alucard was never a villain really except when he test you in CV3. I think this would piss the fanbase off more than they would want. The anime is pretty faithful to the series in the aspect, but who knows honestly. They probably could do a complete 180 and make him take over the mantle of lord. Based on how its going so far though, I think the focus will be on Carmilla being the main antagonist unless they find a way to resurrect the count.
Watched a few more episodes. This show is shit. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for watching and encouraging Netflix for spurge money on this tripe. I'm not angry. I'm just disappointed.
Anime Limited will release the first season of the Castlevania series as a Collectors Blu-ray in the second quarter of 2019.
Eh? I liked a Carmilla. At least she has clear vision and focus. Purpose. Everyone else is just crazy. I doubt we've seen the last of Dracula though...
