Preacher co-creator, Steve Dillon, has passed away at the age of 54. Really sad news to hear today that continues to bum me out 'till now. Someone really ought to tell 2016 to stop taking all the good ones.

Although it's not my favorite graphic novel series (Transmetropolitan has that honor), Preacher's had a great effect on me and how I view my relationships with other people. From the characters' strengths and struggles in spite of their flaws, to its biting take on religion, Preacher was really something special and I don't think I'll tire of re-reading it.

Dillon's art, in particular, really made that thing come alive. Thanks to him, Jesse Custer, Cassidy, and Tulip became more than just comic book characters.

    RIP.

Not a fan of comics or the series, but it's always sad seeing someone die so young.
