but this might be a chance for being x to show up again if he did shoot her
Woohooo operation Shock and Awe, here we come.
she didn't kill any civilians.
Did the rocket miss? Or does she have to deploy something from the warhead on the ground?
The rocket was more of a means of undetected entry across the borderline than a weapon. Just a fast getaway, like a prototype jet plane, so to say.
Thanks kuze. I thought it was the actual tool.
Spoiler: They got it hard
Spoiler: Gramps playing it cool
Long mad dialogue between Tanya and the gramps above, coming up.
Man this is some wild stuff. It's almost too much strategy for me. But i want to see where being x comes in next.
The battle sequence of the first half of episode 11 were gold this week.
I quite didn't understand the reason behind Tanya's outburst at the end. I guess she was trying to be too perfect and cutting off all possibilities of a further retaliation from the Republic by negating all their reinforcements. But I don't see how that alone could be the downfall of the Imperial in the later stages of the war (unless some technological/strategic location advantage that wasn't revealed in this episode is at play).
I think you're missing the point here, she seems to care little about the war, and helps as needed to preserve her own life. She had that outburst because she was pissed that she still had to deal with Being X trying to get her killed. She thinks that ending the war will lead to her having a safe life. That's how I see it.
@Kuze and moe cool points. I was surprised she
went to that church. And looked at the kid getting beat up. Im wondering why she went their. Trying to conjure being x for a showdown?
For me, I thought she was returning home and seeing where she grew up at...not that it's been too long since she grew up. As for the kid being beat up, I feel she saw him as herself, or a metaphor for being X and herself and how she's not going down yet. But that scene did baffle me.
Thanks. Forgot about the orphanage.
Oh wow so thats it for now.
so they pudh out to take over the continent. Now theyre being taken on by every power. And shes declaring all out war on god! D
QUESTION - why do all the other countries get different names except the us? And does that mean the US will be the bad guy now? Or will it be more personal with the new gal and not be the whole country?
Lel Tanya lost it at the end. Now go read the LNs.
Pretty okay ending. They teased another character who'll go head to head with Tanya.
I think that was US just in name only. Everything else was totally different. Even though I haven't read the light novels, I feel like US doesn't even stand for United States. Could be more like Unified Sovereign or something.
I think they're trying to position the US girl on the side of good intentions (who's another tool of Being X).
Thanks kuze. I guess now we have to wait. Is it gonna pick up this year or do we have to wait longer?
To make a point, I think that woman we saw is what they consider their god at the church or orphanage, they see god as that woman. Or it's an angle, not positive.
On a side not, I always viewed Tanya as a enemy. They're just portraying the story though her. Like I said in one of my first posts here, that this is one of the few animes that I want the main character die.
Nah, I don't think we'll be seeing any new material this year. Maybe an official announcement by the end of the year if sales are favorable.
